On Saturday, April 11, the Philadelphia Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra will join forces with the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society for a special side-by-side rehearsal and sectional coaching session with the acclaimed ensemble132. This exciting collaboration gives Sinfonia students the opportunity to work directly alongside leading professional chamber musicians, experiencing the artistry, communication, and precision that bring chamber orchestra repertoire to life.

Together they will rehearse two striking works for strings: Mozart’s Adagio and Fugue in C Minor, K.546 and Elgar’s Serenade in E Minor, Op. 20. Through this hands-on partnership, students will deepen their musical understanding while experiencing the collaborative spirit at the heart of chamber music making.
